09 Feb 08 Luang Prabang - Arrival
Catch your flight - Bangkok Airways PG272 departing at 10:05 & arriving at 11:25.
Catch your connecting flight - Bangkok Airways PG945 departing at 13:30 & arriving at 15:30.
Upon arrival in Luang Prabang you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

10 Feb 08 Luang Prabang - City Tour
Wake up early to see monks receive morning alms. Return to your hotel for breakfast after which your guide will take you on a city tour including Phousi Mount, the National Museum, Wat Xieng Thong, Wat Visun, and Wat Sen.
Enjoy lunch in town followed by an afternoon free.

11 Feb 08 Luang Prabang - Waterfall
You will be met at your hotel and driven to the starting point of your trek. Your hike will take you along mountainous paths where your local guide will introduce you to the three hill tribe groups as you walk through stunning scenery to remote villages. You will visit H'mong and Khmu villages in this 5 hour trek which finishes at the Kuang Si Waterfalls where you can enjoy a well deserved swim and lunch before returning to Luang Prabang by minivan.

12 Feb 08 Luang Prabang - Pakbeng
Your boat leaves at 7:30am from the Luang Prabang pier. Cruise your way upriver to the Pak Ou Caves to see the "Cave of a thousand Buddha's". Enjoy a buffet lunch on board as you pass stunning scenery on your way to Pakbeng. You will arrive at the LuangSay Lodge before sunset where you will have dinner looking over the Mekong.

13 Feb 08 Pakbeng - Houeisay
Enjoy breakfast at the lodge and take an optional walk in to the village. At 8am board the boat for the second leg of the cruise. As you continue your way upriver you will stop to see local rural life and enjoy a buffet lunch on board. You will arrive in Houeisay at around 17:00 where you will be transferred to the border.
You will be met at Chiang Rai Airport and transferred to River House Resort & Spa. Once you have checked in relax and enjoy your resort.

14 Feb 08 Chiang Rai - Chiang Saen - Chiang Mai
Your will be pickup from your hotel at 10:00AM drive to visit Chiang Saen (A.D. 1260), the ancient city of Chiang Rai, on the steep banks of Mae Khong River, opposite Laos. Witness some magnificent, ancient ruins , Chiang Saen National Museum, one of the most famous museums in Thailand for ancient Buddha images and antiques and old temples. Wat Pa Sak, this ancient 88-metre high brick pagoda, next to the museum, is the tallest religious monument in Chiang Rai and Wat Chedi Luang, which is regarded as being one of the most beautiful examples of Lanna architecture in northern Thailand.
Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant. Then, proceed to Chiang Mai with visit Wat Rong Khun (White Temple) and Mae Ka Chan Hot Spring en route. Then transfer to Chiang Mai hotel.

15 Feb 08 Chiang Mai - Working with the Elephants
Visit the Elephant Nature Park, a wonderful organization dedicated to conserving and promoting elephants. Spend the day learning to bath, feed and command these amazing beasts of burden. Please bring a change of clothes or a swimsuit as you will get wet giving the elephants their daily bath.
Catch your flight - Thai Airways TG127 departing at 21:00 & arriving at 22:10.
